Meet Dr. Ulysses H. Scarpidis
As a top board-certified plastic surgeon in New York City, Dr. Ulysses Scarpidis provides an array of body contouring and cosmetic procedures to help enhance the body and face. Specializing in the field of liposuction, he can help one lose fat where diet and exercise have failed.
Dr. Scarpidis attended the esteemed Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Hackensack University Medical Center. Being one of the top plastic surgeons in the program, he was chosen to be the Administrative Chief Resident that represented his colleagues.
Contributing Advancements
Since then, he has dedicated his practice to mastering the latest and most effective facial and body rejuvenation treatments available – ensuring his patients have access to the procedures they need to look and feel their absolute best.
Actively involved in a number of research projects, Dr. Scarpidis is recognized for his contributions to the scientific community. As a clinical investigator in laser liposuction, he has presented guidelines for the safe and efficacious use of this technology at numerous national plastic surgery conferences. He has also been invited to share his research on the changes the face experiences due to the natural aging process, as well as his surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, at a variety of local and national industry conferences. In addition, his work has earned him the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgery Clinical Poster Competition Award two years in a row.
When he isn’t contributing to advancements in his field and helping his New York patients accomplish their precise cosmetic goals, Dr. Scarpidis enjoys sailing, tennis and traveling. He’s also fluent in English, Greek and French, and is proficient in Italian.
