Aging Skin from Sun Exposure: Time to Rejuvenate
Many people enjoy outdoor activities, both in the summer and the winter. Whether it’s the beach, boating, sports, skiing, or other outdoor recreational activities, it is critical that you protect your skin from damage. Although the sun can give you a healthy-looking glow, the long-term result is skin that ages more quickly, and develops lines, wrinkles, and creases, and unsightly age spots. It is possible, with modern anti-aging treatments, to restore a more youthful texture and tone to your skin, as well as remove sun spots and the other signs of sun damage.
Custom Treatments for Sun-Damaged Skin
Every person has a unique situation, with varying levels of sun damage. The first step is a full evaluation of your skin quality. Some of the treatments we offer include:
Cutera Excel V Laser: This advanced laser was developed to treat pigmentation issues, including sun spots, freckles, and age spots – as well as many other skin flaws. The green laser light pulses quickly and effectively to remove excess pigment, leaving your skin clear and free from flaws. It can be targeted to address lines and wrinkles.
MaxFrax: This is a combination treatment developed by Dr. Scarpadis, and includes three separate procedures – laser, an oxygen facial, and a “photofacial” which uses specific low-energy light into facial flaws. The combination of treatments can produce a dramatic improvement in skin texture, smoothness, and firm quality to sun-damaged skin.
Halo Rejuvenation Laser: Halo targets the effects of sun exposure, and can treat discoloration, poor texture, fine lines, and enlarged pores, among other flaws.
IPL Max G: This system uses light-based technology, produced by a handheld unit that is moved over the area to be treated. The light energy is absorbed into areas with excess pigmentation.

Your Face Tells Your Story
If you spent years as a sun-worshiper, you may now be living with skin that looks old, tired, wrinkled, and has developed sun spots, age spots, or larger areas of dark pigmentation. If you are tired of looking older than you are, and want to restore and rejuvenate your skin, one of our customized treatment plans can give you a fresher, more youthful look. Rather than showing the world that you spent your summers or winters exposed to harsh UV rays, present an attractive, restored, and rejuvenated face. We believe that modern technology lets us improve on nature, and one of our many anti-aging treatments, whether used singly or in combination, works to restore aging, sun-damaged skin.
