Cosmetic Coordinator & Chief Plastic Surgery Specialist
Julia is a certified medical assistant and laser technician who is passionate about plastic surgery, aesthetics, and patient care. She enjoys being a direct consultant to patients in all aspects of their journey both pre and post operatively, ensuring that your entire experience is not only smooth but rather enjoyable. Assisting Dr. Scarpidis in most of his procedures, she has witnessed first hand the kinds of external and internal changes that come about as a result of his sensitivity, knowledge, exceptional visualization of realistic beauty, and vast array of techniques. In her spare time she delights in being a devoted mom to her very busy daughter and relaxing with a glass of wine with her husband.
Medical Assistant
Throughout her career in the cosmetic industry, Melissa has had experiences from the front desk all the way to hands on patient interactions. She considers it to be a pleasure working alongside Dr. Scarpidis, who she says is extremely outgoing, professional and easy to work with, as well as the rest of the team here at Scarpidis Aesthetics. In her time outside of the office, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and indulging in all life has to offer.
Director of Patient Care
Kerry is our Director of Patient Care. She began her career in the Aesthetic Industry as a professional makeup artist, working in tv, film and editorials. With an extensive background in luxury spa management in London, she has a vast knowledge of cosmetic surgery, non-surgical treatments and skin care products. Excellence in customer service is a top priority of Kerry’s and she is very involved in the day to day operations of the practice and offers personalized assistance to ensure each patient's experience is exceptional. In her spare time, Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband and son, studying up on nutrition & fitness and taking tap classes!
Lead Medical Aesthetician
Jane MacKinnon is a New York State licensed aesthetician with plenty of experience treating aging skin, acne scarring, rosacea, as well as other skin conditions. She has been trained extensively in laser skin treatments, laser hair removal, Intense Pulsed Light treatments, Ulthera, body contouring procedures and chemical peels. Jane has a passion to help patients achieve healthy skin by creating an individualized treatment plan along with patient education. Her expertise in skincare and skincare products has enabled her to help patients maintain the results of treatments and prevent further skin damage.
Patient Care Coordinator
Jessica is best known as a beauty and health enthusiast with a background in esthetics and psychology. She accidentally discovered the word 'esthetician' during her DIY project when making an eczema cream for her friend and soon enrolled in Christine Valmy's School of Esthetics for an opportunity to enter the world of all things beauty. During her years in the spa industry, Jessica's passion for health and beauty extended to the medical aspect of beauty and is now proud to be a part of Dr. Scarpidis' team. Jessica is ready to assist our patients with the utmost courtesy and care, and makes coming into our office always a pleasant experience.
Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Consultant and Yoga Instructor
Samantha Rigoli MPH, RD, CDN, RYT is our Registered Dietitian, Nutrition Consultant and Yoga Instructor. She holds a Master’s in Public Health and is the founder of Healthy to the Core NYC where she provides one-on-one counseling for adults and children, conducts nutrition-focused seminars, wellness talks, cooking demonstrations for privately owned businesses and corporate accounts. In her spare time, she is developing a wellness initiative for the human services non-profit, Urban Pathways.

Agatha Catechis is a New York State licensed aesthetician with extensive experience in skincare and laser treatments. She specializes in laser hair removal, laser skin treatments, chemical peels and skin-tightening procedures. Agatha’s goal is to ensure she fully educates her clients on all treatments, products, and procedures available to create the ideal custom-tailored skincare treatment for their individual needs. In her free time, Agatha enjoys travel and all of the experiences that come from learning about new cultures.
